Floral City Heritage Days ~ what it was like in our town around 1883 and early 1900's
Period costumes were donned by tour volunteers and historic home hosts
   
Joe & Lona Bassett provided wonderful refreshments for volunteers
Festivities included historic home tours, arts and crafts displays, music, dancing, food and much more
   
Members volunteering in other community events
Members volunteered to help the Salvation Army with some bell ringing to collect donations that benefit under-privileged families. Shown on the right are Kathy, Anne & Diane ... other volunteers are not pictured

A banquet feast fit for a king
The Pride Award was presented to the Floral City Garden Club by Frank and other members of the Keep Citrus County Beautiful organization in recognition of all the community gardens we donated and maintain. [Memorial Gardens, Bird and Butterfly Garden, Gateway Garden, Rose Garden, School Garden, Trail Garden and Orange Avenue Spots and Pots]
1st VP, Christine, filled in for Kathy during her absence
Peggy read a Thank You letter from the Floral City Heritage Council witten by Marcia
Petal Power Award was presented to Diane Freund for volunteering to chair the Decorating Committee

Yard of the Year Honerable Mention was presented by Cathy to Melodie
Bette led our Christmas sing-a-long ... she had everyone laughing and singing
Gifts were exchanged and the meeting was adjouned
Many thanks to the Decorating Committee for the beautiful table decorations
