We welcomed several guests and two new members. |

11/27, 830A Monday, Decorate the Town:
volunteers met at the Community Building and decorated the town in preparation for Hertiage days and the Christmas Season. This is our annual Christmas gift to the town. |

We collected the following donations:
Campbell Soup labels to benefit Camp Wekiva*; funds for the Academy of Environmental Science; and, funds for Shop with a Cop. [*bring your Campbell Soup labels for the ongoing collection]. |

11/29, 9:00A Wednesday, Roadside clean-upvolunteers are needed, we will meet at the Community Building for assignments & supplies. All citizens are invited to join in the fun. We provide pik-stiks, bags and safety vests.
Bring a bucket and/or trash can if you have one ... if not, come anyway.

| We adopted, from the Friends of the Garden Club, other town gardens [the corner garden on US 41 and E Orange Avenue, the trail garden across from the Gazebo, the corner garden at the convenience store and the ivy covered fence] along with potted plants and the maintenance of seating benches. Member, Dave Bellman installed a drip system to water the potted plants. [see our "Projects" page] |

/02 Saturday, 10A - 4P, volunteers dressed in period costumes will guide guests through historic homes ... there will be eight homes on the tour this year. |

We reported on the FFGC District V Water Extravaganza Celebration plans and progress for February 23-24, 2007. A Web site is being developed at www.celebratewater.com to keep us updated on the events planned. This site has been added to our "Links" page. This is a huge undertaking supported by many organizations. |
